The Pederiva family welcomes you on the Ciampedie’s flat!

In summer, we are certainly opened from the first week of June until the first week of October. During the winter saison we open from Christmas to Easter.

In summer it is possible to book a room in the refuge, so you can pass  a peaceful and relaxing evening with us, far from the chaos of the cities.

We are accessible from Vigo di Fassa with a confortable cablecar, that starts from the center of the village and reachs in three minutes the Ciampedies upland. We remember you, that from the last winter from the center of Vigo starts a mobile-stairs that bring you direct on the boarding of the cablecar.
For who that intends have relax and stare at the beautiful mountains among ihm, we advice coming up with the chairlift from Pera di Fassa.
For the trekking lovers we advice the path Nr. 544, that starts from Vigo (1,30 Hrs) or the path Nr. 543 from Pera (2,30 Hrs). For mountain bikers instead is advisable the forest path from Vigo that climbs the hill.

Anyway you won’t go home disappointed!

Our refuge lays at 2000 meters in the middle of the upland. In ladin, our local language, Ciampedie means “God’s field”. In fact, the tableland is surrounded by a beautiful wood formed by larches and firs. Looking towards South, the pain faces to the lower Fassa valley. You can see from here the villages of Vigo and Pozza di Fassa, and almost the entire valley.  From Ciampedie it’s possible to see a 360 – degrees panorama on the greatest Dolomites peaks. You can admire the entire Catinaccio range, with the Roda di Vael, the Cigolade, the Catinaccio peak, the famous Towers of Vajolet, and the Dirupi of Larseck.  Further it is possible to stare at the great range of Sella and Pordoi, the majestic Marmolada and its glacier, Monzoni group, Lagorai and Latemar.
